My work investigates the anatomy of humanity and it's position in the world.

Our bodies suffer all impacts and intensities, be that emotional, physical of even subconscious- I'm interested in studying that affect/effect we're left with, the push of the daily flux of life. Deconstruction and re-assemblage of the figure through physical and philosophical approaches, form an Ovid metamorphosis, an embodiment of transcendence, which brings the viewer to an awareness of the self, questioning functionality and purpose. I'd inspire to make my viewers aware of each inner structure of the body, whilst stripping the discipline of all our conformities, forcing a displacement of the self.

Materials favour the work, I do not restrain the work from producing in the matter of clay or oil pastels. I feel that rawness is an essentiality in artistic communication.

Currently studying in Moray School of Art, Fine Art BA(Hons) soaking up every bit of knowledge which is relevant to my practice.
