Accidents Happen

In art, we sometimes start off with a brilliant idea, great intentions and fused with a plan of how something should look and how it should be presented. However, since I've been dabbling with collage, automatic drawings, I've stated that I'm not over-thinking anything and trying to add meaning to any images as they are shaped, but I've had the best thing happen to me at 10 o'clock at night, while watching Gotham.
So, upon my millions and trillions of random images, I was packing up and had already cut out the figure of this woman out of a fashion magazine, when a set of entrails just fell on top of her head. And I stopped.

I don't know why, but something really captivates me about the simplicity of the image. Theres a beauty in gore that quite often gets polished to look as appealing as possible for the viewer to be drawn to it. I'm quite hoping to do the same, but in a more brutal manner where there is no space to beautify what's on the inside.
I'm gonna roll with this, and hopefully I'll uncover the concept that's been lurking in my subconscious for a little too long.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODBYE ARTIST BLOCKAGE! And thank you accidental epiphanies!
