Nearing deadlines and I need to start thinking about what I'm actually doing with my collages, I've done 63 in my a3 sketchbook to count and scanned them all so they're safe, just in case the art school sets on fire and I lose the originals. I've cut a few to size and set them on white mount board, they look really polished as now that its a flattened image, and definitely will make some more to put up on sale.

Now in terms of my 63 collages, I think I'm going to display them in a process of experimentation kind of layout. So I've actually brought a nice brown wallpaper and cut them both to a similar size, and used the same textured papers and elements that I put onto the collages, onto the wallpaper. I've separated all my collages between the originals of the Goreology series which I used all secondary source imagery for, and stuck them onto one strip of the wallpaper in a collage manner, and did the same with the rest of the collages that I made from my own imagery.

I've also placed all my little oil pastel paintings of the collages on the side, displayed going down so that the lecturers can see the stages of experimentation clearly.

Anybody getting this really cool retro vibe from the wallpapers, though? I think they'd look awesome as a feature wall in someones living room or something.
