It's always a refreshing day in art school, when you spend the day blowing up balloons and dripping latex all over them, yup, refreshing.

I'm going ahead with my body without organs being an explosive abstraction of the body, having done some research, I'm falling into the drawing pull of Karla Black's work, where cellophane and candy colours make you believe you're staring into the scene of a dream. Although my work is somehow grotesque, in a way, I've been advised to look into TH ABJECT, in art, where convulsive beauty of humanity is somewhat manifested into a goal for me to achieve.

"That's what sculpture can do, it can be a pure engulfment and absorption in the material world, when you're not even aware of yourself, when you have no self consciousness, and you're not being watched and you're just purely absorbed in the material world. That is the best possible kind of escape – when you are fully connected to yourself."
