There's been no end of calamity in my life with teeth issues, I swear, I need to actually do a piece on teeth. Literally, fear the dentist and my teeth are constantly doing their best to make me face this...
Aside from the raging pain and sleepless nights, I've been trying out some new approaches with my collage's, since I wanted to make a book, I want to get a little creative with style. I do aim to make it a book with some form of peotic writing that I will shamble out of my life at some point, which woill describe and give the reader/viwer and more broader undertsnaidng of my concept. So I want these images to be effective enough to bounce back off the writing, to keep a nice solid flow to the book.

So far, I've painted with watercolours and liquid latex onto the collages, watercolour was boring and common so I chose latex layers to keep me entertained, and since it dries clear, the effect makes certain areas pop out, from the image, giving them a really clear focal point. Also really interesting to scratch areas off the image which peels back the latex from the paper, while additionally giving the chance to attach/glue dry sheets or cuts of latex, onto the image to bulk it even more.
Loving this, the only downside is it takes a while to dry when you start adding more and more layers, I experimented up to 4 layers, but did more than that on some collages, which was really effective. Planning to carry this on, hope time will let me get creative, and the tooth pain just waits until the goddamn crown gets fitted!!!
