Updates before hand in! I've not been in the most stable place so if I fail this degree. I'm going to come down like a ton of bricks on this establishment since I have had everything hit me all in one go, and i still have to make deadlines meet, but tutors can do as they please by taking as much time to give grades back due to their own grievences and strike on everyones most stressful day- today! It's been a struggle to get myself out of the house and face anybody, when I've gone into uni, I've kind of hid in each corner to avoid any type of conversation since i feel like i cant actually articulate any constructive communication with anyone.
against the odds, here I am, last day, managed to finish the big piece, and I'm quite pleased with it to say the least, the lighting looks fantastic seeping through the latex sheets, I've also re-secured some of the sheets as they are really thin and easy to rip. I'm very happy with the feet, even if i didn't get the chance to detail them or paint them, I still feel they deliver the overall effect i was looking for, definitely get a Karla Black met Minna Palmquvist and had a baby called Corps Sans Organes.
This piece will be displayed in MC3 Studios for our DISEMBODIES exhibition coming up on 29/05/17-11/06/17 featuring other works that have been produced alongside this semester.
It's a miracle I handed in, now just got to wait for that lovely email telling me I've failed because my work is not good enough. Life just keeps giving me positives to look forward to, cannot wait for this year to be over.
